Their journey has been one of triumph over educational challenges and a strained relationship. As a single mother, Gwen faced the daunting task of raising a son who was labeled as unteachable, diagnosed with ADHD, and oppositional defiant disorder, with professionals suggesting medication as the only solution. Gwen fought the battle of her life to prove them wrong. She won! Today, Myles is an honor student with dreams of attending college.
